About Our Cat Services

Creative Paws Pet Grooming offers a variety of services for your cat. Contrary to popular belief cats do need grooming much the same as for dogs. The amount of grooming a cat needs depends on the coat type. Short haired breeds may only need their nails clipped and an occasional bath to remove grease and dander. A longer haired cat may require much more frequent grooming to prevent tangles and matting from forming.

The skin of a cat is very thin and can become irritated very quickly once matting has formed. Matting can be prevented by regular brushing at home or a trip to your groomer for their professional services. A bath is recommended for your cat during the grooming process to remove the grease, dead skin and dander that build up over time.

Cats can become stressed out during transport from your home to the salon so our goal is to plan your cats visit on a day and time that other factors will not add to your cats' stress. Excessive barking and interruptions during a cat groom are not in the best interest of any cat. We are flexible with our time and will be happy to schedule your cat's groom when we can expect the least amount of interruptions.
